Winter in the Southern Utah
Winter is a time of total peace and solitude
in southern Utah. Crisp cool air and a delicate layer of pristine
snow seem to add a sense of clarity to the landscape. I touch the
cold rock and sense the warm heart of the desert that lies beneath.
There is as odd feeling of never quite being alone out here, a
feeling similar to, yet not quite identical to, that we feel for
friends for and family. I suppose it is a sense of place, a feeling
of being at home within the landscape that has been central to
my dreams for most of my life. Nothing in life is more important
in life than finding your true home, and it is never too late to
start looking. Come home for the Holidays.
