Magazine - An online magazine designed to explore
the beauty, life and culture of the North American deserts.
The site contains information, images, stories, movie, and
audio clips about virtually any desert-related topic: plants,
animals, geology, cultural and natural history, recreation,
parks, cities, travel and people.

- Southern Utah - Travel information from the "Great
Outdoor Recreation Pages". Includes tips on hiking and
biking trails, and many other forms of outdoor recreation.

to the geology of Red Rock Country, by Jack Stroman. Additional
sections contain wonderfully detailed information about things
to see and do throughout the entire region. With its massive
amount of information and beautiful pictures, make sure you
don't miss this site!

Outdoor Friends - New! -
A group of friends who enjoy the outdoors, specifically backpacking,
camping, hiking and river sports. These guys really seem to
know what hiking is all about - having fun! Follow their
adventures through Labyrinth Canyon, Zion, Arches and many
more places throughout the state of Utah.
The city of Moab is a great place to stay for an
enjoyable trip into southern Utah. With a population of approximately
5000 people, it is the largest town in southeastern Utah. Conveniently
located near several national and state parks, Moab has all of the
services (motels, supermarkets, camping supplies, restaurants, etc.)
that you will ever need for an enjoyable trip.

These sites contain the latest and most accurate information relating
to park rules and regulations. Several years ago I used to write
to individual National Parks for information packets prior to planning
a trip. Now all of that information, and much more, is available
at the click of a mouse.
