Delicate Arch

Perhaps the most famous arch in Arches National Park, and quite possibly in the entire world, is Delicate Arch.  Its seemingly improbable location perched on the edge of a massive sandstone bowl, providing a natural frame for the La Sal Mountains, is one of the most breathtaking vistas in all of Utah.  I have hiked to Delicate Arch countless times yet every single time that I round the final bend of the trail and catch my first glimpse of the arch, it completely takes my breath away.  Delicate Arch is, quite simply, a natural wonder that you must try to see before you die.
